We look back on the story of Hall ‘D’ in Kolín
The story of Hall ‘D’ in Kolín: We bring you another instalment of our ‘look back’ at the challenging regeneration of our MTC Kolín commercial complex, where very little now remains to remind us of its recent past. Over the past 12 years, a brownfield site with just two operational halls has been transformed into a sought-after industrial complex with 16 halls, and we are currently building the 17th. Seventy-three companies are currently operating here.
In the gallery, we look back at the replacement of the cladding on the old hall, followed by the construction of the second bay and the adjoining warehouse. We began construction in 2021, and production lines were installed there as early as 2022. Today, Hall ‘D’ produces modern plasterboard profiles with a capacity of up to 24,000 tonnes per year, whilst the spacious warehouse can hold up to 1,500 tonnes.
