KOŠICE forming centre

After the crisis in 2008, our company was forced to expand its product portfolio. With the large storage space of the rolling mill in Košice and the synergy of its cutting centre, we were able to invest in rolling lines for the production of window frames and plasterboard stud frames. 15 years later, our Košice-based company MT COMAX, s.r.o. has 11 forming lines, including a welding line, an NC saw and an ADIGE laser-cutting machine, with a total production capacity of up to 50,000 tonnes of metal shapes per year

LITOVEL forming centre

This centre was established back in 1991, when KVARTA LITOVEL, spol. s.r.o. initiated the production of thin-walled metal shapes almost directly in the centre of Litovel. After the big flood in 1997, the company moved to the outskirts of the town, but because the halls of the former sawmills were getting too small, the former owner, Mr. Jiří Čep, decided to invest in new premises in the industrial zone in Víska u Litovle; today, after buying a 100% stake, our company operates 6 forming lines here, including 2 welding lines, 2 cutting lines, 2 NC saws, 2 presses and 1 ADIGE laser-cutting machine. The centre's annual production capacity is 26,000 tonnes.

KOLÍN forming centre

In 2011, we also started producing metal shapes in Velvary. In 2022, production was moved to our new, generous production plant in Kolín due to a lack of space, and a fully automatic forming line for the production of plasterboard stud frames was added to the plant's machinery. A warehouse for 1,500 tonnes of finished metal shapes was built next to the production hall. The Kolín centre has a production capacity of 24,000 tonnes of plasterboard stud frames per year.
