METAL TRADE COMAX, a.s.

We have been supplying high-quality steel and aluminium products for major industrial customers in construction, mechanical engineering and the automotive industry for 50 years.

We are the only producer and expoerter of continuously coated sheet metal in the Czech Republic, and we are a major European producer of coil coated sheet metal registered in the ECCA. We are one of few companies that can coat both steel and aluminium.

We cut coated and uncoated coils into strips and sheets or profile them into modern sheet metal and produce a wide range of steel shapes with the possibility of precise laser cutting and punching.

Our social responsibility

COMAX HAS SOLAR SOLUTION

Fifteen years ago, we built our first rooftop power plant in Velvary, which underwent renovation in 2024. That same year, we installed a second power plant in Velvary and a third at our plant in Kolín. Our 2 MWp power plants cover approximately 15% of our annual consumption without taking up any land.

COMAX HOUSING PROJECT

METAL TRADE COMAX provides its employees with a range of benefits. One of these is the opportunity to purchase a new apartment in the "BYTY COMAX" project at a discount. We have not forgotten those interested in rental housing either – we have opened an employee housing cooperative for them.

WE ARE PART OF COMMUNITY

We donated the proceeds from the sale of our PEOPLE 2026 charity calendar to the town of Velvary to support its community life. Over the past two decades, we have donated CZK 25,000,000 (EUR 1 million) to charity. We would like to thank our employees who participate in our charity activities.
