METAL TRADE COMAX, a.s.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES
The aim of the project was to purchase a zero-emission vehicle, specifically a battery electric vehicle.
As part of the “Electromobility Guarantee – I. Call” program, METAL TRADE COMAX, a.s.
purchased an M1 category electric car – a Volkswagen ID.3 hatchback ID.3 Pro People (A1) 150 kW.
The purchased electric car will primarily be used for the business activities of METAL TRADE COMAX, a.s.
RESULT OF THE PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
The result of the implemented project is the purchase of a zero-emission vehicle for the needs of
METAL TRADE COMAX, a.s. within the scope of its business activities. These steps aim to reduce
dependence on fossil fuels, which will contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly environment by reducing CO2 emissions and other harmful substances. The transition to electric vehicles is a necessary step towards a cleaner and healthier environment and the achievement of global sustainable development goals.
2023-2025

Project goal:
The intention of the project is to use the waste heat from two induction melting furnaces for the administration building and the toilet building, by partially replacing the natural gas consumption in the boiler rooms in these buildings. Another measure is the replacement of the lighting in the service centre hall with DALI-controlled LED luminaires and the installation of photovoltaics on the roofs of the three buildings of the whole site with a capacity of about 1.0 MWp without energy storage.

Project goal:
The aim of the project is to expand the recycling infrastructure for waste treatment. The waste will be processed to the level of a semi-finished product, i.e. secondary foundry or formed aluminium alloy according to EN standards or customer requirements.

Project goal:
The goal of the project is to increase the company’s competitiveness through the introduction of innovative technologies in the field of thin-walled welded profiles and the expansion of the applicant’s production portfolio for the production of special thin-walled welded profiles with use especially where the emphasis is on profile torsional stiffness and weight reduction while maintaining strength compared to an open profile. The implementation of the project will increase the technical and useful values of the products.

The goal of the project is to increase the company’s competitiveness through the introduction of innovative technologies in the field of processing secondary raw materials. By reworking and reusing part of the material that is discarded during the incoming inspection of the incoming material, we increase the efficiency of the logistics of material flows on the painting line with a positive impact on the environment.

Modernization and completion of the MaR system, extension of lighting regulation
- Replacement of outdated lighting in the production and storage halls of the metallurgical operation, the painting line and the profiling center, including the modernization of the electricity distribution for the lighting system
- Exchange of heating system boilers, including accessories
- Modernization and completion of the MaR system, extension of lighting regulation
Ecological benefits are an integral part of the project, i.e. reduction of emission factors by approx. 364 tons/year.

Project goal:
The project is aimed at increasing the company’s competitiveness by expanding the product portfolio in the area of coil-coating coated passports. At the same time as product innovation, the technological production process will also be innovated, especially with regard to production quality and production efficiency, by installing optical control elements to check surface defects and the flatness of the input material. Another measure to increase the quality of the surface and the uniform application of the paint is a device for automatic control of the pressure of the application rollers.
The implementation of the project will increase the technical, utility and design value of our products.
