COMAX reduces its carbon footprint.
In 2023, we started planning of a rooftop photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 0.81 MWp for our MTC Kolín production site, to make our halls energy self-sufficient. In autumn 2023, we obtained the permit and installed the solar power plant in spring 2024.
Solar energy covers 100% of the energy consumption of our production plant in Kolín and, together with our other investment projects, helps to reduce our environmental footprint. The investment was supported by a National Renewal Plan grant of 40% of eligible expenditure.
