The BRAVO has changed to HOBBY ROOF.
In January 2026, COMAX acquired a 100 % stake in 2 companies of the international BRAVO holding group. Through this acquisition, it secured a significant position in the network of DIY stores.
In September 2026, we rebranded the BRAVO brand as Hobby Roof to best convey its message: to be a reliable supplier to the ‘DIY’ sector. Alongside the premium COMAX ROOFS roofing products and the SOLROOF solar solution, the COMAX Group is thus also developing a brand aimed at DIY enthusiasts.
‘DIY’ (from the English ‘Do It Yourself’) refers to creating, repairing or improving things in the home and garden by one’s own efforts without the help of professionals.
Hobby Roof operates in the Czech Republic and Germany, building on its predecessor’s decades of experience with an extensive network of business partners and hundreds of DIY stores across Europe, whilst also focusing on introducing new products into its range. In doing so, it draws not only on the experience and tradition of the original brand BRAVO, but also on the manufacturing, commercial and managerial expertise of the COMAX. Hobby Roof thus offers customers not only the stability of its product range, but also creates scope for new products.
