{"id":5318,"date":"2024-05-26T20:42:28","date_gmt":"2024-05-26T18:42:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mtcomax.cz\/?p=5318"},"modified":"2024-05-30T16:34:37","modified_gmt":"2024-05-30T14:34:37","slug":"comax-reduces-the-carbon-footprint","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mtcomax.cz\/en\/comax-reduces-the-carbon-footprint\/","title":{"rendered":"COMAX reduces carbon footprint"},"content":{"rendered":"<a class=\"kt-img-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mtcomax.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/delici-centrum-comax-velvary-300x200-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5314 alignleft\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP\/\/\/yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.mtcomax.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/delici-centrum-comax-velvary-300x200-1.jpg\" alt=\"COMAX reduces carbon footprint - METAL TRADE COMAX, a.s.\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>\n<p><strong>4,299 photovoltaic panels and 9,061 m\u00b2 for solar energy<\/strong>, that&#8217;s the area of our 3 rooftop solar power plants so far.<\/p>\n<p>15 years ago we installed the <strong>first rooftop PV plant<\/strong> with an installed capacity of 103,5 kWp on the premises of our headquarters in Velvary, which underwent a complete renovation this year.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently installing <strong>a second PV plant<\/strong> in Velvary with a capacity of 1 MWp, which uses the potential of three large-scale roofs of our halls.<\/p>\n<p>Together with <strong>our third PV plant<\/strong> of 810 kWp, which we installed this year at our plant in Kol\u00edn, we will have a total capacity of 2 MWp, which will cover about 15% of our energy consumption.
