Aluminium is a very light metal of white-grey colour, which is a good electric conductor. It is abundantly used in electrotechnical industry and especially in the form of alloys, and in the automobile, aircraft, building and computer industries. Aluminium mostly occurs in nature in the form of compounds, with bauxite being the most well-known.
